Il Cuccio was born on 2005 when three generations of milanese
moved to the Asti countryside. It is close to Rocchetta
Tanaro natural park. At the top of the hill, beyond the
mists; the woods and the vineyards of Monferrato there
is the farmyard, typical of the area, sourronded by an
hazel grove, an orchard, a kitchen garden and a forest.
The name was created by my son and refers to the idea
of a place of comfort, a place of nurturing. |

The hills form our landscape, the land gives products,
the house gives us a nurturing
space and the people here create the rest.
The past
Before the creation of 'il Cuccio', I lived in Milan
and worked for 10 years in fair trade. But there are
some things that a big city can not give you: nature,
fresh air, an opportunity to rejoice with the changing
seasons, talk with the neighbours, join local festivals….
in other words, join another dimension.
